Miguel Gonzalez has been teaching and performing for twenty years.

His musical career started in Caracas, Venezuela when, at an early age he attended the “National Conservatory of Music” and studied classical music and theory for four years.

While studying classical guitar, cello and theory he realized his talents were in jazz and other forms of popular music. He enrolled at the “Ars Nova School” in Caracas. After his graduation, his talent and versatility soon afforded him the opportunity of performing internationally with famous South American artists as well as with his own jazz trio.

Looking for new frontiers in music, Miguel came to New York City where he performed , recorded and taught before coming to South Florida.
